This is the most useful ‘mentality’ type chat so far for me. I definitely relate a lot to Cell and the criticism provided of his mentality of lacking a fire inside at some point. I needed that push to develop a sort of confidence toward pushing harder in matches. Really enjoyable. This channel is a treasure trove of the best educational Melee videos out there. <3

@Fiction52 I just want to say man, at that around the time 55:46, when you're explaining the jumping stuff and the quarter-circle movement for nairs, (I've always just let my stick roll to neutral for nairs) I just wanted to say, there really isn't enough resources out there for people who never learned how to do this stuff, or that we even needed to know it. So thanks for explaining that stuff man

This mentality chat is wildly helpful. I had an overinflated, "super saiyan" ego when I first started that prevented me from improving, but then I learned to chill and invest in the losses to learn. But I've gotten a little stuck where I always feel like I don't have all the stuff I need to win. I ultimately plan to lose until someday I magically cross a threshold and start winning. Going to start meditating on that. Thanks for the knowledge <3
